At the October general meeting we opened the floor to nominations for the election of a new Executive for the next two years. The meeting reached quorum for the first time via Zoom, and we proceeded with nominations. Surprisingly there was only one nominee for each of the executive positions. With no challengers to each position, these members were acclaimed. November’s meeting via Zoom also met quorum and we were able to hold the general meeting, at this time President Caul confirmed the new executive committee based on the results of the nominations from October’s meeting, and the lack of need for a election, the results are as follows:
Executive Committee for CUPE Local 65, 2020-2022

Vice President: Lori Caul
Secretary Treasurer: Wendy Kellar
Recording Secretary: Curtis Dustin
Warden/Membership officer: Tara Svoboda
The very familiar names above are now the active Executive committee for Local 65 and will serve until Fall 2022.
